This company is a real find. Professional, courteous and straight talking to deal with, and excellent craftsmen. Dan was very efficient, he sets high standards for his work and does exactly what he promises to do. They kept me informed and consulted throughout as necessary. Their time keeping was very good and the finished job is terrific. Naturally when you dig up a patio no-one knows what you'll find and so there was one unanticipated extra cost, however this was well explained and they did their best to keep the cost as low as possible for the extra work involved.
Complete renovation of garden
I was delighted with the work done by Oakley. They were extremely thorough in every element of the work and really seemed to care about the end result. They are a small and personal team and I would highly recommend them. Our back garden has been transformed from a concreted over badly levelled area into a beautiful natural garden! It's a pleasure to now look outside.
I've been meaning to send you this email just to let you know how extremely happy we are with the backyard. Despite the little niggles/ delay (minor point for me), you were a pleasure to work with and I really appreciate that Dan especially took the time to get the details right. I thought our communication worked really well. I think it did show that in 99% of the time it is best to ask rather than assume. We had my son's (Alec) 3rd birthday party a couple of weekends ago it was brilliant to have the kids in the backyard which really is extension of the house now. I plan to take some photos shortly and will send across. As I mentioned before I would be very happy to be a reference if you require at a later date. Also if you want to post me some of your business cards I would be happy to recommend you guys if I know of any friends needing landscaping!
